How can you differentiate between a fact and an opinion?
Facts can be substantiated with verifiable proofs. For example, the scientific method requires that others can repeat your presented proof and come to the same conclusion. An opinion is something that may be a personally held belief or theory of how something works, and may even be a group or widely held belief. However, popular opinion remains opinion unless it can be rigorously proven and substantiated. Being able to discern between fact and opinion is an important skill, and part of the wider skill of critical thinking. Without it a person or a group are subject to the winds of populist drivers and easily fooled into actions that can be embarrassing or harmful.

How can video surveillance be used to detect and prevent human trafficking?
Video camera monitoring "could" make a difference. However, this is a very jurisdictionally variable approach. In countries where privacy laws permit video monitoring and facial recognition, it is probably already deployed in one form or another. An interesting intersection may be applying Homomorphic Encryption techniques to video feeds or facial data, so only finding the faces of missing persons, without exposing the identity of others.
